quince? it’s a bit like a pear

With a brief respite from a new course brief and a weekend of starting to put together a new website, I decided I needed to play with some self-initiated work. I love playing about building stuff in Photoplop and Illustrator, and ended up with the over-excited plump bird, who will be more owl-like with a bit of work. This led me on to the idea of making an illustration of ‘The Owl and the Pussy Cat’ or, for lolcat fans, ’Teh Owlz and Teh Kitteh’. Currently not decided on colours, so working in tones to be adjusted later:

All I need now is cash, a fiver, stars, a guitar, a bong tree, a pig, a ring, a shilling, a turkey, some mince, [got quince], a runcible spoon, a beach and the moon. Not much to do, then…….
