q: why is windows vista like a vacuum cleaner in a greenhouse?
a: because it’s full of bugs and it sucks.
I can testify this by the number of times it’s relentlessly kicked me out of various applications on far too numerous occasions over the past few days. With vexing messages such as ”The interwebs is feeling poorly and doesn’t want to play. Microsoft Interwebs is going home”. I don’t think so. Microsoft interwebs gets about half a second after I get said message before I restart the bugger. My other ‘favourite’ is the screen going blank, then the display reappearing with the reassuring quip “Display driver stopped responding, but is talking to you now“. Thanks, Billy G, for giving me a near heart attack every time this happens.
When the system has been calm, I’ve been continuing to make little monsters and other objects for my ‘Owl and Pussycat’ illustration:

I think I’m going to try and produce three separate illustrations for each verse of the poem, and am also thinking about creating a piece which incorporates all three by, hopefully, flowing into each other like a merged storyboard. Need to play a bit first as I’m not sure that the spoon’s doing runcible, yet….
